  30. I clean my A3000 keyboard whenever the planets align, I suppose that the A4000
  31. board is similar enough(A2000 kboards are).

  33. First, don't pull or try to pull your keys off.
  34.  
  35. After removing the external casing(top & bottom), you are left with the internal
  36. unit.  Looking at the underside, it looks like(it is) a circuit board with a
  37. dozen or so tiny screws.  
  38.  
  39. Get a cup or other container and a small phillips-head screw driver.
  40.  
  41. Remove all tiny screws and place them in a cup for safe keeping.  Don't knock
  42. the cup over, that would be very bad.
  43.  
  44. Now you should be able to remove the circuit board and access the contact
  45. pads for cleansing.  Scrub away but I don't recommend steel wool ;^)

  47. Anyway, that's the jist of what I did for my ailing 's' key(and others) once
  48. upon a time.
